Agorart - Liqueurs by Maria Pia Colasante
Make a left at Villa Scontrone's main intersection and you're sure to find the little liqueur laboratory of Maria Pia Colasante. After many years of making liqueurs for family and friends, she is finally living out her dream of bringing Agorart to the public. It was always Maria's passion to produce homemade liqueurs infused with fruits and natural herbs, following in her mother's footsteps who was a native of Pescasseroli. The liqueurs are prepared with the fruits, plants, berries and the petals of roses that grow wild within the area encircling Scontrone. Luigi Veronelli, a well-known wine expert wrote in his magazine, Veronelli EV: “With this brand name Agorart produces an all-in-one series of liqueurs; the first tasting will spellbind you.”

| Apicultura - Honey by Mario Canale
Once upon a time the Celestine Monks in the monastery of San Giovanni d'Acquasanta produced an original honey that contained unquestioned therapeutic and nutritional qualities. Today, just down the street from the monastary's ruins, MARIO CANALE, makes honey with same natural resources and procedures as the monks once did in order to uphold the same guarantee of tasty, high quality honey. This honey is not pasteurized so that it does not lose its genuine characteristics and nutritional properties. Therefore, after a short period of time it crystallizes. It melts easily in hot milk or honey and is microwaveable.
The honey is produced is from a large number of flowers because the worker bees visit many types within the area. Other honey products from the Canale honey hive include a royal pudding - a food enhanced by the provider bees, propoli - a natural antibiotic, honey with walnuts, honey with almonds, and honey with hazelnuts which are all made in an authorized laboratory. At Mario's store, in addition to these products you can find other honey-based derivatives. These derivatives include a cosmetic line from the bees not only for energy and health, but also for beauty and good hygiene for the whole body. Don't forget to try the honey candy.

The Quarry - "Le Cave"
The surrounding area of Scontrone encompasses four rock quarries used to produce sand and fine stone for making cement and bricks.
For over 40 years the quarries have remained an important resource for the entire Sangro Valley. Today they employ altogether about a hundred people; Thus they serve a fundamental part of local economy. | The Dairy Farm
Passed down from father to son and so on, The Melone-Ignazio Dairy Farm has naturally improved itself year after year. A hundred years ago they milked cows by hand; Now they milk cows with an automatic milking machine. In fact the milk goes directly from the cow to refrigeration. The breeding was formed from fifty brown cows.
Thirty more young cows are used for annual reproduction for the milking business and for sale. This business produces six to ten hundred kilograms of milk per day which is collected for dairy products which are transformed into typical Abruzzi products (cacciocavallo, caciotta, mozzarelle, fiordilatte, etc.).
